Breanna Montes Medical Relief Fund
Hello,
This is my best friend Breanna Montes, and more than likely she is, or could be, your friend too. If you know Breanna, you know that she is a strong, independent woman, who has a heart of gold, and she will do anything to help someone in need. She lights up the room when she walks in, and has something special in her that just radiates kindness, and love to those that she is around. She is a nurse with a servant's heart, and has always taken care of her patients, friends, and family in a special way that no one else can. If she has done this for you personally, you have felt what I am talking about.
Now she needs our help in the biggest way.
Over the last couple of months, she has been to the ER on a few occasions for what she thought were heart issues and stroke-like symptoms. (Although she would never tell many people that she didn't feel well...) After being cleared of those things by a large amount of different testing and scans, she was finally diagnosed with Bells Palsy. She was given a treatment plan and medications, and was instructed to follow up with an ENT for a swollen tonsil that was noted on one of the scans.
It was during that visit, that she was diagnosed with a 4-centimeter parapharyngeal tumor. Just as Breanna is, this type of tumor is very rare, and only occurs in <1% of the US population. Over the last few weeks, she has been evaluated by multiple surgeons in the DFW area, and has had extensive testing in preparation for picking the best surgical approach, with the best surgeon. This is so rare, that she was scheduled almost immediately to be evaluated by a fourth surgeon at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. She has this appointment tomorrow. Hopefully, after this evaluation, she will be able to take all the information that she has received over the last 3 weeks, and will be able to pick the best team to help walk with her on this journey that God has laid before her.
My ask is that you help me ease her financial burden that she is feeling with all of the ER visits, office visits, and additional testing that she is going through at this time, as well as all of the missed time at work. She is a single mom of two children that could really use our financial support as well as our prayers.
