Hello all, I am sorry to be the one having to write that my rugby club, Bream RFC, was broken into on the evening of Tuesday 8th October.
Incident Number -5809102024
Mindless, significant damage has been caused to the building, plumbing, bar area, kitchen, toilets as well as a large sum of cash has been stolen.
For any club, this would be devastating, but Bream RFC and its Volunteers work tirelessly to make sure that there is a clubhouse to be used by both teams on match day and, as you will know if you have been there on match days, it is a really tight knit group and for this to happen to this particular club really is heart-breaking. Most importantly, on Saturday the 19th of October, the Annual Remembrance Day for a club legend is due to take place where literally hundreds of people attend the match and enjoy the atmosphere in the bar afterwards.
Our team has already tirelessly worked to tidy up the mess hat was left after the event, led by our club Chairman, and we are hoping that a strong community of both sports and good will, could help us back onto our feet and hopefully be back up and running before our big day on the 19th October.
Please, in this case, every little bit really does go a long way.
Sincerely
Aaron Ryder
