Breakthrough&Hope: Support Rebecca’s Mental Health Treatment
Donation protected
For the past five years, my daughter Rebecca has silently suffered—and so have we as a family. Misdiagnosed over and over, shuffled between specialists, and lost in a medical maze that never seemed to give us real answers, Rebecca's mental health has steadily declined. But today, we finally have hope.
After years of confusion and pain, Rebecca has finally received an accurate diagnosis from the incredible team at Cook Children’s Hospital. For the first time, there is a clear path forward—a way to heal. But it comes with a cost we cannot shoulder alone.
Cook Children’s has recommended a highly specialized residential treatment center, one of the few in the country that offers the specific therapy Rebecca urgently needs. The facility is prepared to take her, but the cost is staggering: over $90,000. Our insurance, despite numerous appeals, covers less than half of this life-saving care.
We are raising $50,000 to cover the remainder of Rebecca’s treatment—so she can finally begin her journey to stability, peace, and long-term recovery.
Rebecca is kind, intuitive, and creative—a light even when she’s hurting. She loves art, journaling, and has a soft spot for animals. Despite her inner battles, she’s shown immense courage. And now that we have the right diagnosis and a clear treatment plan, we can't let money be the reason she doesn’t get help.
This is a pivotal moment. With residential care, she has the chance to not just survive—but to truly live. We’re reaching out to our community, our extended network, and anyone willing to stand with Rebecca in her fight for mental wellness.
Please donate if you can. Share if you can’t. Every act of support brings us closer to giving Rebecca the future she deserves.
With deepest gratitude,
Christine
