Breaking Chains, Inspiring Change

Donation protected

Hi my name is Blue and I am here today to ask you for a few minutes of your time to hear my story. Im here to see if you are able to help me break chains and inspire change. During my 11th grade year while everyone was quarantining, I began doing nails. I knew I definitely wanted to do something to make people feel good about getting services done. I know I didn’t like how I was treated at salons , so I knew I wanted to make a change. I am self taught. When I first started I asked my dad and my Titi to help start me out, they bought me a kit and a mannequin hand. I began doing nails by watching youtube videos, doing the nails of friends, family, and myself. I never stopped and truly began to develop my talent. There was something that sparked in me. Something I was passionate about. When I graduated high school I decided to go straight to cosmetology school. I looked for grants, took out loans and worked and saved to help make it happen. I thank The Most High that I graduated cosmetology school and was able to secure my license. I created an LLC and made a name for my business. I have been working in salons but my desire and dream is to create my own space. I love what I do. I love to inspire creativity in my clients, to see their confidence soar and feel beautiful. I am asking you to help me with my next steps in my journey. I want other young women to know they can break the chains of poverty. They can achieve their dreams. They can inspire others. I have found a location that is safe clean and affordable. Of course time is of the essence and I am trying to sign a lease within the next 30 days. Any help you can provide is a blessing. Prayers for success are always welcomed.

If you feel led, please share with everyone you know!
