Help Me Become the Woman I Am Meant to Be
Hello, my name is Ranvier. I’m a 24-year-old trans woman from Chicago working my way moving to Paris, and I’m sharing my journey with you in the hope of finding support to continue my transition. This isn’t easy for me to write, but it comes from the depths of my heart.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt out of place in my own body a disconnect I’ve carried through my entire life.
I have poured my heart into every step of my journey, sacrificing and persevering to be where I am today. Years ago, I made the difficult decision to forgo college to become my grandmother’s caregiver as she battled dementia. She was my guiding light—always believing in me, always reminding me that my happiness could inspire others. Her love and encouragement continue to fuel my passion, and now, I’m determined to build something meaningful not just for myself, but for everyone who has ever dared to dream.
While I’ve embraced my truth and slowly begun my transition, it’s a long, challenging, and expensive process, and I cannot do it alone. The financial burden of hormone therapy, medical procedures, therapy, and legal changes has been overwhelming especially now through our elections. Transitioning is not just about physical changes; it’s about aligning my body with my soul and finding peace and confidence in who I am.
This transition marks a powerful step in breaking boundaries as a model and entrepreneur, allowing me to fully embrace my authentic self while redefining beauty standards. By openly living my truth, I’m not only carving a space for myself in the industry but also paving the way for greater inclusivity, proving that beauty has no singular definition. My journey is about more than just aesthetics it’s about representation, visibility, and empowerment. Through my work, I want to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness, challenge outdated norms, and create a world where everyone, regardless of gender identity or background, feels seen and celebrated. This evolution isn’t just personal; it’s a statement of progress, proving that authenticity and success can and should go hand in hand.
In light of recent political changes, including the re-election of Donald Trump, accessing proper support for my transition has become even more difficult which is why I have decided to move forward to a new country that has welcomed me a new home. Transgender rights and healthcare have come under increased scrutiny, making it harder for people like me to receive the care we need. Policies that restrict access to gender-affirming care, alongside social stigma and fear, have added new layers of difficulty to an already challenging journey.
Living authentically in this climate requires immense courage. But I refuse to let fear or political adversity diminish my hope for the future. Your support would mean the world to me as I work to create a life where I can fully thrive as the woman I’ve always been inside.
RanvierEnRose is more than just a name, it’s the embodiment of my journey, my resilience, and my unwavering pursuit of authenticity. From my early struggles with identity to the moment I finally embraced myself as a trans woman, every step has been a fight to live as the person I was always meant to be. My journey hasn’t been easy; I’ve faced sacrifice, uncertainty, and the weight of societal expectations. Yet, through it all, I’ve found strength in sharing my story, using my platform to inspire others who, like me, have felt lost or unseen. Moving to Paris was a leap of faith, a chance to build a life where I could thrive, free from the constraints of a society that often seeks to erase us. Through fashion, beauty, and advocacy, RanvierEnRose represents not just my transformation but a movement one that celebrates authenticity, courage, and the beauty of becoming.
All funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, therapy, and essential steps in my transition, such as:
• Hormone replacement therapy
• Gender-affirming surgeries
• Counseling and mental health support
• Legal documentation updates
No donation is too small every euro, every dollar, every bit of love and encouragement counts. If you cannot donate, sharing my story with others would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. With your help, I can move closer to becoming the woman I was always meant to be, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
With love and gratitude,
