Breaking Barriers: STEM for Underserved Kids

Grand Rising Friends & STEM Community!!!
It is a pleasure to work with students, young adults educators, professionals who see the bright light in every child. I am hailing from a family in which there were some barriers that prevented me from living my dream as a pediatrician. With the strength of Angels and Sponsors along the way I have been persistent and committed to succeed. Due to the struggles in their time, my parents struggled to obtain an education. I have been able to pay for school, inspire children and young adults to take a risk and be curious enough to try something new. I know what it feels like to not to have a mentor, or a sense of direction and feel as if no one is trying to help you reach your dreams.
I have created and run programs in school systems and for nonprofits to support youth. Most recently, I have created and was the key operator of a STEM Camp that exposed youth to engineering, math, anatomy and physiology, marine biology, financial literacy, etiquette, science, art, building drones, gaming and coding, 3-D printing, coding Arduinos, exercise, robotics, teambuilding, powerful affirmations, making movies etc.
In addition, I have had the pleasure of working with Morgan State University, Coppin State University, UMBC and many other colleges and other organizations to support the progression in the STEM pipeline. The time is now to help place our youth in a learning opportunity!
With partnerships that stretch beyond the constraints of a classroom, we can continue to prick the hearts of our youth and help them to reach their goals and run full speed ahead toward their passion. By exposing them to STEAM, we can give our youth a chance to make this world a better place and create a sustainable future for families and communities.
By partnering with you, we can stretch beyond the common fabric of education. By executing experiences in Coding, Business, Engineering, Competitions, Design, Anatomy & Physiology (Dissections), 3-D Printing, Business, Financial Literacy, Art, Trades, exposure to Medical Careers, Environnmental Sustainability Issues and Conservation of the Environment using good stewardship will equip our youth with skills that will help them thrive and stay alive.
By supporting this innovative program in communities that need it most, we will be able to provide kids with phenomenal opportunities and a good dash of learning of how to get along with other people, discover new paths of learning, build, collaborate and innovate with new skills. With training, experiences with experts, certification and operating through the lens of incorporating self-reflection, increasing self-esteem and restorative practices, our young scholars can accelerate with a growth mindset that will outpace their peers.
Together we can achieve so much more!
If you are able to directly contribute, we are in need of 30 robotic cars. Feel free to purchase 1 or more for a scholar to learn computer programming.
