Breaking Barriers: Funding Natalie's College Education
Donation protected
For as long as I can remember, education has been my dream and my hope for a better future. My name is Natalie Moonsamy, and I am determined to start my degree in special education by the mid year , at Zambia Institute Of Special Education. I choose to study special education because I have had a passion for it ever since I was young I love helping the special needs and helping find a home or a place were they belong, there's a saying disability is not inability.
But the road to this moment has been anything but easy.
Growing up in a modest home, I’ve faced many challenges that could have easily derailed my dreams. My parents worked hard to support our family, but there were times when even basic necessities were difficult to come by. Paying for school was a constant struggle. There were days I had to walk miles to school because transportation wasn’t an option. Sometimes, I had to study under dim candlelight when electricity was unavailable.
Even so, I refused to give up. I stayed committed to my studies, believing that education was my way forward. Through hard work and determination, I earned the opportunity to attend college and pursue my dream degree. But now, I face another major obstacle: tuition fees.
Despite working part-time and saving every penny I could, as well as applying for multiple scholarships, I still find myself short of the amount I need to begin my studies. It’s disheartening to come so close, yet feel so far. But I’ve learned that challenges can be overcome with courage, faith, and the support of others.
That’s why I’m reaching out through this fundraiser. The funds I raise will go directly toward covering my tuition fees and essential school materials, allowing me to focus fully on my studies. I dream of using my education to make a difference in my community, to inspire others who face similar challenges, and to show that no dream is too big when you’re willing to fight for it.
This journey hasn’t been easy, but I know I can’t do it alone. With your support, I can overcome this final hurdle and take the next step toward my future. Your contribution—no matter the size—means the world to me. Together, we can break the barriers standing in the way of my education.
Let’s make this dream come true. Thank you for believing in me!
