Hi my name is Emma. I am a single mum and a teacher and I am fundraising so I can send my girls to breakfast club. I need to clear my balance before I can use the service and I am unable to work without it. I am mum to Lily and Annie, and I am barely surviving. I get no financial help from the girls dad who is abusive and I do not qualify for any government support. I know how hard it is for everyone at the moment but I am in a viscous circle and I can’t seem to get out of it. Every month I pay as many bills as I can and some go unpaid so I can feed the girls. I have started a new job closer to home to cut down on petrol costs but I still lay awake every night going over and over things in my head and worrying I will lose our home that I have fought so hard for. My girls have been through so much. I am the only constant in their life and I hate how they see me unhappy or stressed all the time because of money. I would never normally do anything like this because I’m just too proud. However finding out today that I cannot use breakfast and after school club anymore until I pay my bill was just the final straw. I would be so grateful for any help as I don’t know where else to turn. Thank you for your support xxxx
