Most people that donate more than likely know me, but for those who don't my name is James Nelson.

I am 30 years old, I live with my wife Tara and our cats. We both work in management for the same company and we've made somewhat of a decent life for ourselves over the years.

After a few months of sudden health problems, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I had a mass removed January 28th, and had been left with a temporary colostomy.

UPDATE 9/15/2025

My cancer has metastasized and is now stage 4 pseudomyxoma peritonei. My options are very limited at this point. There is a surgery that can remove the new deposits in my body, but I'm not sure if carelink is going to cover it, and if it does I still have to see if I'm even a good candidate for the procedure. If I can't get the surgery my only other option will be hospice care. I am no longer able to work anymore at this point, due to the extreme pain I have in my stomach.

I hate asking for help, but anything is appreciated. Whatever money is donated will be going towards any of my medical expenses, and hopefully the surgery itself. If I have to go into hospice, whatever money was raised will go towards moving my wife and I back home to be closer to my mom and grandma.
