Bre and Josh Vire, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, loved each other deeply, both before and during their marriage of seven years. They loved their "heavenly Father" and always included and respected Him. Bre and Josh longed to build a family together. Despite a few bumps throughout their journey, they utilized a laser focus, along with their steadfast Faith, and never gave up their hope of having a family (see link below regarding their blog). They lived a very modest lifestyle and worked incredibly hard, with any extra time and money already devoted to their dream of fertility and a family. In April 2020, five long years into their battle with infertility, Bre and Josh were recipients of an award generously offered by Baby Quest Foundation, Inc (see attached screenshots), and oh my goodness - my sweet cousin Bre was finally pregnant!
At the young-yet-mature age of 30, Bre was already a loving mother with her bouncing baby boy in utero and had big plans for her amazing family. Yesterday evening, March 26, Bre suddenly began having complications breathing, and she sought formal medical intervention. She was rushed into an emergency c-section, where they found several blood clots in her lungs. Her family prayed harder then ever while she gave birth to her healthy baby boy, then hardest of all when she was fighting for her life while in a coma afterward. At approximately 6:19PM this afternoon, Saturday, March 27th, Bre was taken off all life support and her heart stopped beating - our beloved Bre left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father. As stated by one of her big brothers, Matt, "My lovely, caring, spiritual sister Bre went home to heaven today... we are all still in complete shock..." In the words of her big sister Hillary, "she's now a heavenly angel watching over all of us," including the husband she couldn't possibly have loved more - Josh - and the greatest love of her life: her newborn son.
Bre was destined to be a mom, and both Josh & Bre were destined to be a family. No one ever saw this coming and no amount of money will bring our beloved Bre back. However, we can pull together and help bring Bre "home" to her Heavenly Father with a proper funeral and burial. All proceeds will go directly to her loving and devoted husband, Joshua Vire, who will utilize the funds for said expenses. Any leftover funds will be earmarked for the time Josh will need away from the office for paternity leave and bereavement. Josh Vire, a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, will be the recipient of ALL funds, and his name will reflect as such (instead of Emily Landers, Bre's cousin & resident of Connecticut), as soon as Josh is available to join this GoFundMe. Clearly other things need his attention and love at the moment.
Thank you all in advance for loving our sweet Bre. I'm without words to express the gratitude properly. Just thank you so much. <3
