Braylyn Peterson Leukemia Fund
Donation protected
On May 10th, our neighbor's five year old daughter, Braylyn, was diagnosed with Ph-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Philadelphia chromosome–like acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph-like ALL) is a newly identified high-risk (HR) B-lineage ALL subtype, accounting for ∼15% of children with National Cancer Institute–defined HR B-ALL.
***UPDATE***
We are almost four months into a treatment plan that is expected to last a minimum of 2.5 years. Braylyn has been so brave and so strong even though her little body is being put through the ringer with all of the chemo and other meds. The last two rounds of treatment have ended up lengthy hospital stays they have brought on fever, nauseas, vomiting and ANC counts ranging from 0-10. This number should be between 2500-6000.
Please continue to pray for Braylyn and her family as they fight the good fight every day. Sending love to my friends, The Petersons!
Please follow their journey on their Facebook blog "Braylyn Peterson Updates".
