Braylen Breton “7”

Braylen was a helper. The hardest part for me has been the funeral. As I struggled through the obituary, we came to donations. Where would we like money to go in Braylens name? Nowhere. Nothing fit and nothing was right. Children don’t carry insurance and young adults have to be in the work force for about 9 years to be eligible for death benefits. Sitting in that room making decisions based on cost is the #1 gut punch. There is no financial help to bury a child. It’s my wish to assist parents who have lost their teen or young adult to suicide. We don’t plan for this. We don’t prepare. This fund will make a difference in such a big Braylen way, truly in the spirit of providing care and comfort. It will be him wrapping his arms around these families, taking away a little of the worry and stress. Him putting his strong hand on their shoulder in reassurance they will get through.
