Braylen Beats Rhabdomyosarcoma

Hello, I’m Shante a mom of a 1 year old named Braylen who was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma which is cancer of the soft tissues. Approximately a month ago he was having cold symptoms so I took him to Baptist south and they said he was getting over covid. So abt a couple days after I left Baptist south he began to have real bad nose bleeds I took him to Jackson hospital they said his nose was dried out, the nose bleeds got worse and worse. I took him to his pediatrician after I had to demand them to give him an appointment. On arrival of my appointment I still did not receive any assistance from them, she only prescribed him an allergy medicine basically saying his nose bleeds were from allergies and dryness from his nose. She also told me to sit in a steamy bathroom to uncongest his nose. The next day he stopped breathing in his sleep and only started back breathing once stimulated. I then rushed him back to Jackson for the 2nd time. On arrival they found my son’s nostrils completely closed and his throat was starting to close as well. He was then rushed to children’s hospital in Birmingham Al. He is now currently on a ventilator as of the second day there, as well as a feeding tube and a breathing tube. They recently added pac in his chest so they wouldn’t have to keep pricking him since he have rolling veins and caused him to have an air bubble in his lung so they are currently trying to get rid of the air bubble with a needle so he can begin his chemotherapy for the next 42 weeks. I’m asking for not only prayers but assistance with expenses for Braylen such as traveling from Montgomery to Birmingham, medication that’s not paid for with his insurance, doctor bills and etc. I currently have to reside with my son in Birmingham Children’s hospital for the next few months and they only provide two meals a day. My family has been a huge help but it’s just not enough to live off of. I signed up for SSI but my appointment isn’t until next year sometime. Please and thank you for all prayer’s & donations!
