Tuesday night is a night we’ll never forget. Brayden was out riding his neighborhood on his dirt bike when he was struck by a driver on the left side. He ended up with a broken femur in multiple places, along with scrapes and cuts all over the rest of his body.
Brayden is a very responsible 16-year-old: he works, goes to school, participates in vo-tech at school, and had a job lined up with the Coast Guard for the spring.
Now all he’ll be trying to do is recover and work to get back to his normal life.
He’s had 2 surgeries so far with many more in his future. He’s currently at Shock Trauma at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
Brayden’s parents have already been out of work for a couple of days and that will be the future for a while. They have 3 other kids at home as well. Parking in the city will pile up, gas back and forth, and lost wages shouldn’t be something they’d have to stress about.
