On July 10th, my son Brayden Bahr was diagnosed with Stage M2 Medulloblastoma, a type of pediatric brain cancer that resides in the cerebellum of the brain (the lower portion of the brain, near the spinal cord). 

After undergoing neurosurgery that felt like forever, the surgeons were able to excise most of the tumor and Brayden spent the next week in the hospital recovering and getting back to his old self. Brayden and his mom (Kacie) will travel to St.Judes in Memphis, Tn. for the next 6 weeks, where he will undergo radiation therapy to shrink the tumor that remains!After radiation is complete he will begin chemotherapy, which typically lasts several months.

Braydens diagnosis has been a difficult one to process for everyone, and I’m positive this next year will be full of sadness, anger, confusion, and happiness but at the end of the day all that matters is that Brayden kicks this cancers ass!

We are asking for donations to help cover travel expenses, bills that will need to be covered while Kacie or myself are away from work to be there for treatments, any out of pocket medical expenses that may arise, and to help pay for anything Brayden may need during this time!
