In Loving Memory of Brayan Rueda Toro

Dear family and friends,

It is with profound sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the unexpected passing of our cherished Brayan Rueda Toro who passed away on May 14th 2024, at the age of 22. Brayan had recently arrived to Canada just over a year ago leaving his family and loved ones back in Colombia in hopes of a better future here in Canada. He was a hard working person that was thankful for every opportunity he had. If you were to ask Brayan if he liked being here in Canada he would talk your ear off with all the good things he had to say. He was a young man loved by many and his smile was enough to lighten someones day. His jokes would keep you giggling all day, and he was someone you never heard complaining, as he would always see the positive in everything. There are no words that can describe just how much he has impacted the lives of those who knew him. May he Rest in Peace.

Our hope is that we can all come together to raise funds for Brayan’s mom to help alleviate the financial burdens of sending him back home to Colombia to his mother, father, younger sibling and his loved ones.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness and contribution, we appreciate anything. May you all keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Con profundo dolor compartimos la desgarradora noticia del inesperado fallecimiento de nuestro querido Brayan Rueda Toro. Brayan había llegado recientemente a Canadá hace más de un año, dejando a su familia y seres queridos en Colombia con la esperanza de un mejor futuro aquí en Canadá. Brayan era una persona trabajadora que agradecía cada oportunidad que tenía. Si le preguntabas a Brayan si le gustaba estar aquí en Canadá, te hablaría de todas las cosas buenas que tenía para decir. Era un joven querido por muchos y su sonrisa era suficiente para alegrarle el día a cualquiera. Sus chistes te hacían reír todo el día, era alguien a quien nunca escuchabas quejarse porque siempre veía lo positivo en todo. No hay palabras que puedan describir cuánto ha impactado las vidas de quienes lo conocieron. Que descanse en paz.

Nuestra esperanza es que todos podamos unirnos para recaudar fondos para el cuerpo de Brayan y ayudar a aliviar los costos de enviar su cuerpo de regreso a Colombia con su madre, padre y su hermana menor y sus seres queridos.
