I’ve been bugging my friend Braxton to start a gofundme for his gender confirming surgery, because he’s a generally generous, loving human being who faces daily realities of dysphoria and general struggle of being a trans guy in society. He’s kind of a bad@$$ of positivity and kindness, and gives to others before himself. He works hard and is saving up for top surgery. I’m passionate about gender-confirming procedures partly because I believe society— and we in the LGBTQ community— fail trans folks so epically, so I’m always eager to slip assistance towards countering that remarkable negativity if I find a chance. If you’re looking for a local, grassroots cause à la a worthwhile individual to help, consider being a counter to all the hate in the world and sending Brax like five (10? 15?) bucks. Okay, I’m done asking for your hard-earned money, you avocado-toast eating millennial spenders :P
