We’ve set up this fundraiser to help our friend and workmate, Matt Stevens.

 

Matt’s had the toughest news any parent can get. His 8-year-old son Brax has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Brax has been flown from his home in Tasmania to have surgery in Melbourne and he’ll go straight into chemotherapy after that.

 

Brax has a long battle ahead of him, and he needs his family around him while he has treatment. That means Matt’s family will have extra expenses for travel, accommodation and other living costs. And Matt will have to take extended leave from his job to be there for his son.

 

Please give what you can so that Matt and his family can concentrate on helping Brax recover, and not need to worry about covering their expenses or being forced to make the impossible decision to return to work before Brax is able to come home.
