Dear friends and supporters,
Bravo Dance Project is launching a new dance film centered on trauma recovery and healing—a powerful, movement-based exploration of how we rebuild and reconnect after hardship.
We believe deeply in the transformative power of art, especially for communities who often lack access to traditional performance venues. This is why we create dance films—they eliminate cost and transportation barriers by offering free digital access to anyone with an internet connection. Through this format, our work reaches underserved communities, trauma survivors, and audiences across the country.
We are currently raising $5,000 between September 1–30, 2025, to bring this healing-centered project to life. Funds raised will support:
Labor costs for our all-artist production team:
- Director of Photography
- Community Artists
- Choreographer
- Editor
- Sound Designer
- Costume Designer
- Prop/Set Manager
- Production Assistants
Supply costs including:
- Costumes
- Lighting
- Props and Set Materials
Bravo Dance Project is a sole proprietor, unincorporated nonprofit and not a 501(c)(3)—this means donations are not tax-deductible, but every contribution directly funds local artists and makes free public art accessible to more people.
Donors who give $75 or more will receive:
- A personal thank-you note from Director Amanda Bravo (please use the “contact” button on this page to include your mailing address after you donate)
- Your name featured in the film’s credits
Whether you’re able to donate or help us spread the word by sharing our GoFundMe link, your support fuels this work. Let’s continue using dance to tell the stories that need to be told—and make sure everyone gets a front-row seat.
With gratitude,
Amanda Bravo
