A message from Luke:

To help raise funds for Kidney Care Uk, I have decided to take the plunge and shave my head. As we know I have had many comments about shaving my head so thought I would do it whilst highlighting and supporting the need for ongoing research in kidney health.

Local barber, Cal Newsome, will be shaving my head on Tuesday 31st March.

I would greatly appreciate any support, whether that’s sharing or donating as every donation will contribute to research in kidney care. Let’s rally around and make a difference together!

I have chosen to raise money for Kidney disease UK, a cause that is very close to our hearts. As many of you know, my father in law, Steve is currently undergoing home dialysis three times a week, a treatment that is essential for him to live his life to the best that he can after multiple battles with his health.

While the NHS covers the substantial costs of setting up home dialysis in the UK, with support from Kidney Care UK, we recognise the importance of giving back to the community that supports families like ours. Established in 1975 as the British Kidney Patient Association, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people affected by kidney disease for 50 years.

No donation is too small, if you are able to give anything towards this cause, it would be appreciated more than you might ever know. Thank you so so so much!
