Hello lovely people!

My name is Elsa and I’m from Devon. In a couple of weeks I’m gonna shave my head! I am taking this opportunity to ask you to consider donating towards the Palestine Red Crescent Society, which is a mutual aid charity within Gaza for which I hope to raise money for by going (almost) bald. A brief description of their work follows:

“Our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance as well as health and social services to Palestinians whenever and wherever needed. It works towards preventing and allaying human suffering, protecting life and health, ensuring the respect of human dignity, preventing disease, and promoting health, social care and volunteering both in times of peace and war as well as during emergencies, crises and disasters.”

I have chosen the Palestine Red Crescent Society as it is a mutual aid charity with its members currently on the ground in much of Palestine, meaning that the money can most efficiently go towards actively helping Palestinians in need as soon as possible. The Palestine Red Crescent Society are not listed on Go Fund Me, which means I will be receiving and donating your donations directly to them myself.
