STAND UP against CRIME with Ramy -our recent local HERO!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to share the story of my incredible brother, Ramy. He’s not just a dedicated barber and a hardworking family business owner at Noe Valley Market—he’s also a local hero.

On August 27, Ramy took a call outside Chicagos II, where he’s worked for the past decade, when he witnessed a shocking scene. A young woman was stabbed and robbed, and Ramy immediately sprang into action. Despite the danger, he chased down the attacker, tackled him, and helped detain him until the police arrived.

Initially, Ramy didn’t realize he was injured due to the adrenaline, but he later discovered he had a hairline fracture in his left ankle. While surgery isn’t needed, he’s been advised to stay off his leg for at least four weeks. This is a tough blow for Ramy, who has been a rock for our family, especially after losing both our father and his beloved dog earlier this year. He was also preparing to care for our mom next week after her hand surgery.

We’re doing our best to support him, but we’re facing challenges and could really use your help. We’re asking for donations to cover his medical expenses and provide financial relief while he’s unable to work for the rest of the month. Ramy has always been there for others, and now he needs our support.
