Norah Esme (which means brave and beautiful) has been so brave!

Norah had an injury the required stitches and a drainage tube. She was given medication to help her pain and swelling. She was healing beautifully until she quickly told her parents that something was wrong. She and her mom rang in the New Year at the emergency vet where she was diagnosed with an ulcer.

After some quiet hours at home, Norah refused to eat. A trip to her local vet found out her red blood cells

numbers were dropping and quickly. She became critical and was rushed back to the veterinary hospital and given a blood transfusion.

The great news is that she is responding positively to the blood transfusion. She will require around the clock care and monitoring so the ulcer can start to heal.

Norah’s parents didn’t hesitate to get her the care she needed because she is the most brave and beautiful little

lady.

Her first vet visit from the injury cost $2,600.

Her second visit when the ulcer was first diagnosed cost $347.

Shes is now home with an additional a $7,200.

Her parents will do anything and everything they can do to help her but could use help themselves.
