Hi! I’m Rosalie.

I have a dear friend named Lindsay Mains and this is her daughter, Luna.

After months of being considered a medical mystery, Luna was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome. To keep it simple, this is a pre-cancer disorder of the blood. Luckily Luna’s big sister, Olive, was a match and donated her stem cells to save her sister’s life.

Since the donation there have been ups and downs, recently Luna overcame VOD caused by the transplant. Unfortunately she is now experiencing another complication and instead of finally going home, Luna (and her mom) will be extending their hospital stay past their already 50 days.

This means more time off work for both parents and that is unpaid time off.

This gofundme was set up in Canadian Dollars. Because of that, I am not able to set up a direct deposit from gofundme to Lindsay's account.  I will be withdrawing the funds in my name and giving them directly to the Mains family. I used to live in the States and have an account to do a direct transfer to them. I will update pictures of the deposit to their account in this thread once they have been made.
