Lucy Hanson is a bright and energetic 7-year-old who brings joy to everyone she meets.
She loves princesses, Descendants, Zombies, Wicked, and Harry Potter. Her days are filled with music, singing, dancing, and her newest passion—gymnastics. Lucy’s love for school and her boundless curiosity make her a light in the lives of her friends and family.
In late 2025, Lucy’s world changed when she was diagnosed with bone cancer, a rare disease called Rothmund Thompson Syndrome.
Last week she bravely underwent surgery to have her foot amputated in order to remove a tumor. Now, Lucy faces about nine months of chemotherapy, much of which will be spent in the hospital. Because her immune system will be compromised, she won’t be able to have many visitors, making this journey even more challenging for her and her family.
Lucy’s family is doing everything they can to support her, but the costs of medical care, time away from work, and the need to bring moments of happiness to Lucy during her treatment are overwhelming. Your support will help cover medical bills, provide for her family while they care for her in the hospital, and allow them to spoil Lucy with the little joys she loves so much during the challenging road ahead.
The quantity of donation is not as important as the quantity of people who extend a gesture to show they care. Any little token of support shows that there are people all around the world thinking of her and cheering for her recovery.
Let’s show Lucy that days that start with tears can end with a smile when you have the support of an army of people who care.
THANK YOU!
