Earlier this week, my sister Patricia and her whole family got Covid. Trish wasn’t feeling well so she went to the ER. She was transported to the ICU where her condition worsened and was placed on a ventilator. She has suffered a lot of bumps in the road and is now slowly making progress. 

Trish and Derrick have been on such an emotional rollercoaster to have babies. A few years ago they were blessed with the opportunity to foster two boys. They were then blessed to foster their baby brother and are currently in the  process of adopting the 3 brothers. They found out they were pregnant with Violet almost right after they took in little man. Going from 0-4 kids in less than 2 years was quite the adjustment, but ask anyone who knows them—they absolutely love having them to call their own.  They receive very little help for fostering the boys and Derrick is the only provider for the family as Trish stays at home with all of the babies. Finances are tight and now that Trish has gone through all of this, their medical bills are astronomical  

These are two of the most deserving, loving human beings. They have given these children the best possible lives that they can. They would never ask me to do this or ask anyone for money, but they could really use help. I appreciate everyone who shares, donates or sends love.
