Howdy Everyone! I’m Rik. You may or may not know me depending on how far this GoFundMe goes. I’m a dear friend of the Braren family and am here to help them recover from the tragedy of the ongoing Palisades fire.

My dear friend Becca lost her family’s home last night in the blaze. Becca and her adorable son Edward are effectively homeless as of today, with nothing left but the bag she packed for her holiday trip to Panama. If you know Becca, you know she is absolutely the most selfless human around. A true light in this world and a woman I can honestly credit with saving my life, among countless others.

It is my core belief that in times like these we must lean on our communities for support. While the sentimental items that went up in flames will never be replaced, we can all make a lasting statement of support to help a truly incredible family get back on their feet. Your contribution will go directly to the Braren family. I’m making this GoFundMe on their behalf because I know that in these heartbreaking times of need, one of the hardest things to do is ask for help. Hoping we can all rally some finances for the Brarens and show them what community really means.
