Brant’s Road to Recovery
As you read this I pray that this finds you well and you can find the love in your heart to please donate to this young man who is currently fighting for his life. As if holidays aren’t already stressful enough for everyone, imagine this being YOUR loved one in need.
For those of you who don’t know me, My name is Audrey Hays and for the last couple years Brant Granda has been not only my best friend but more like the little brother I never had. From the minute I met Brant and his family they all instantly took to me like I was one of their own and since then we have continued to stay that way. That being said with the blessing of his family, I have created this page to help our loved one Brant with his long road to recovery.
At this point I’m sure most of you know, but for those that don’t, very early this past Saturday morning Brant was in an extremely brutal car accident where he was ejected and left with many many injuries (too many to list). Some of his injuries ARE critical and life threatening. He quickly was flown by helicopter to UPMC Hamot for treatment where he remains on a ventilator. As of this moment in time he his continuing to fight a good fight and all that any of us can do now is wait and pray for the healing process to take over.
He is not able to communicate right now and there is only one visitor permitted for his entire stay.
Brant’s mother Mindy has not left his side since this happened and is doing her best to be strong for her baby boy.
So for those of you asking if you can send gifts or money. This would be the best option as ICU limits what you can have, flowers are a no, and he is going to need a lot of support financially after all of this.
A helicopter transport to a hospital can cost up to $40,000, and Brant’s stay will for sure cost OVER A MILLION DOLLARS after everything!!!! So ANY little bit will help. Even if it is $5 I know that this family will DEEPLY appreciate it.
Lastly, I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. And if you donate, I personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my dear friend.
-God Bless,
Audrey
