Branson's Journey - Emilee and Trey - HLHS

Hello Friends, Family, Supporters, and anyone who genuinely cares about helping people in need who just have unfortunate circumstances in life. My name is Sean Mara, I am a friend of this wonderful family. I used to work with Emilee. I have gotten to know Trey and their little guy Paxton. I have been following their journey and helping out where I can. I just hoped there was more I could do to assist them in their struggles and am asking the help of all of our collective family and friends. They are the kind of people who would never ask for help, and they may even give me the evil eye for doing this in general. But sometimes in life, you just need to accept when the people who care for you really want to ease your burdens. This Gofundme is being created because of their newest addition to their family, Branson, baby boy, was diagnosed with Hydroplastic Left Heart Syndrome and Mitral Valve Stenosis. It is a very rare congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped. The baby must have 3 open heart surgeries - the first within the first 1-7 days, second within 4-6 months, and the last between 2-4 years. For those of you with children, just imagine what this wonderful family is going through and will have to endure shortly after birth. They currently live in Hagerstown, MD. They have the option to travel to Boston to have a procedure done by specialists there and they do not take many cases like this. This will increase success chances.  This Gofundme is to help cover the cost of their medical expenses, travel arrangements, and living expenses while they are unable to work due to the various hardships this condition will present.  There will be a Facebook page that will have updates, pictures, stories, and other information to better educate you on what is going on.
