Update 12/11: Help Us Honor Brandy: Laying Her to Rest with Love

On December 8, 2024, at 4:28 PM, my amazing and beautiful wife, Brandy Litkie, went home to Jesus. After a courageous fight and unwavering faith, Brandy is now free from pain and resting in eternal peace.

Brandy was not only my wife but the heart of our family and the loving mother to our daughter, Rylea. Her strength, kindness, and love touched everyone who knew her. She faced her medical challenges with incredible grace, but now we face the heart-wrenching task of saying goodbye.

We started this GoFundMe to support Brandy’s medical care, and your generosity has meant the world to us. Now, we are asking for your help once more—to lay her to rest with the love, dignity, and honor she deserves.

How Your Support Will Help:
Your contributions will go toward covering the costs of Brandy’s final arrangements, including her memorial service and burial. This is a profoundly difficult time for our family, and we want to honor Brandy’s memory in a way that reflects the amazing person she was.

A Message from Joel and Rylea:
Brandy, there are no words to express the depth of our heartbreak. You were the center of our world, and your absence has left an unfillable void. We will always hold onto the precious memories we shared and the dreams we built together. Rylea and I will find our way forward, but it won’t be the same without you. You were her guiding light and my rock. We find comfort in knowing you are now in a place free from pain and full of peace, and we look forward to the day we will be reunited.

We are deeply grateful for your continued love, prayers, and support. Brandy’s legacy of kindness, love, and faith will live on through all of us, and your help in honoring her memory means more than words can express.

Please share this campaign with others who may want to support us during this time.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

Joel and Rylea Litkie

Update 12/8: It is with deep sorrow that I inform everyone that Brandy passed away peacefully today at 4:28 pm CST. Please keep the Litkie family in your prayers during this difficult time...

12/7 Update on Brandy: Brandy is breathing on her own, and she is responding to some painful stimulus. We are hoping to get her home in the coming weeks. She will need a full time nurse when she gets to come home.

My name is Jim Moriarty and I am raising funds to cover medical expenses for Brandy Litkie, who recently suffered a traumatic brain injury.

On December 1, Brandy was rushed to the hospital and then life-flighted to Little Rock, Arkansas. After a battery of tests, the doctors determined that she has a traumatic brain injury caused by hypoxia. She will require an extensive hospital stay and intensive medical care.

In addition to the mounting medical bills, Brandy's family is also facing significant financial challenges. With a travel time of over an hour and a half each way to Little Rock, her loved ones need to pay for lodging, meals and other essentials to stay close and support her during this critical time.

Brandy has always been a pillar of support for others, giving selflessly to help those in need. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in easing their financial burden and allowing them to focus on Brandy's recovery.

We also ask that you continue to pray for our beloved Brandy, her family, and the many friends who love and cherish her. Your prayers, kindness, and generosity means the world to them in this challenging time.

Your early support can inspire others to give!
