Brandy-hit and run
Donation protected
Brandy was a victim of an hit and run on Sunday, November 13. She was walking home and was crossing the crosswalk on the corner of 6th Ave and 4th Street in Le Mars, Iowa. A truck ran threw the stop sign and ran her over and then fled the scene. He was later caught. She was life flighted to Sioux City, Iowa and was in the ICU for a fractured skull, fractured cheek bone, a large cut requiring staples on the back of her head and multiple deep cuts and bruises all over her legs and body. Brandy has been released and is home with her two dogs. She still has a long road ahead. She has terrible headaches and trouble walking. We have been notified that there is very little insurance from the driver. This means she may end up with part of the debt. It really doesn’t seem fair. Anything anyone can do would be so appreciated. Again, thank you for all your support.
