Hello everyone, my name is Lana Dusek and I’m trying to raise a little money to help with a small memorial service to honor our sweet little friend Brandy Stanley.

Brandy passed away in her sleep night before last in their motel room at the Texoma Inn, where she lived with long time boyfriend and love of her life of 21 years Jason Kirby.

Brandy worked at Texas Instruments for 16 years until she was diagnosed with M S.

She had to quit the job she loved because of health reasons. She eventually got on part time at Walmart, even though she didn’t even have a way to get there. This sweet little thing walked to and from work 2 hours one way and 2 hours back, at night, in rain, and bitter cold all alone, for almost a year, just to make a living.

I met Brandy and Kirby the first day I went there to feed the people.. I immediately loved them both.

She prayed that Wal mart would put her on full time. they finally did and she was ecstatic. But after paying rent, they literally had nothing left to eat on. Last Friday night she called asking if anyone was coming with food,I told her not tonight, but asked if they were hungry? She said yes we are. I know she was embarrassed to ask.

I would love to be able to get enough money for a little service with flowers for her. I’m sure she’s gonna be cremated so that is another expense on Kirby who doesn’t have a job at the moment. Please pray for him. He is not doing well.
