My name is Brandy and I recently was attacked and had my car, my dog GEMMA, and some property stolen. I was in the process of moving, so I had clothes, a tablet, my laptop, and miscellaneous things in my car. After 9 LONG DAYS, I was reunited with my dog and a slightly heavy bill from the shelter. After 2 days of her being herself, she started shaking and she'd stop walking and hunch down till her face was touching the ground and her butt was in the air. I thought maybe she moved wrong and got hurt. The next day, she was doing it again, but her feet were collapsing and she just laid there panting heavily. I took her to the vet and she had a cracked spine and several slipped discs in her neck and back. She will get better, but it will be a recurring problem for the rest of her life. Meds and physical therapy are going to help, but she will never be fully healed. She was so full of energy and happy and now she barely gets around. I know it's still early and she will progress over time. I have not found my car but heard it had some damage and the guy who stole it is still driving around in it. He needs to get caught. I had 2 black eyes, 6 cracked or busted teeth, and a split lip. I'm asking for any help from anyone to help me get back on my feet and help me give my baby girl GEMMA the care and medicines she needs. She is my priority in the healing process but those who know me know I take very good care of my teeth. It bothers me every day. It's my molars so it isn't too noticeable but my teeth have shifted. I have an uneven ridge and my mouth doesn't line up like it used to. With no car, it's hard to get back and forth to work, but as long as I have her back with me, I know we will be okay. Gemma and I would like to say thank you to everyone who helps, even if you can just share my story, I'd greatly appreciate it.
