In July of 2020, Brandy Dobelbower and her family went on a relaxing vacation to Cancun, Mexico. As their trip was coming to a close, Brandy tragically experienced a stroke. With all medical emergencies, especially a stroke, time is of the essence. Being in a foreign country, with low quality medical care,  Brandy's husband Lee worked to make arrangements to bring her back to Fort Worth, Texas to receive proper treatment. The cost to fly internationally for an emergency situation was expensive, but necessary to ensure Brandy was cared for. Brandy has been showing incremental improvements since the stroke - as of August, she is in a rehabilitation center relearning how to speak, increasing mobility of her left side, and beginning to see some movement on her right side.

Brandy's husband Lee has been at her bedside to ensure she is cared for and provide support. Their two children, Jaylen and Jackson, have been receiving support from family, neighbors, and the community.  Both Brandy and Lee have touched so many lives through their work - Brandy is a preschool teacher and Lee has worked for FedEx for over 15 years. 

Many have reached out to see what more could be done to show their love and support for this family. The goal of $75,000 will go to paying for the emergency flight and medical bills incurred thus far.
