My name is Brandy, I'm a mother of five with two still in the home. I've lost my job of 10+ years with no warning that it was even in jeopardy. I had 160 of PTO accumulated and I lost that too. I've been struggling to pay my rent since the beginning. It's too high and my wages are too low. I'm currently facing eviction for the second time. I just found a job a week ago but my hourly rate is significantly lower. Like most, I live check to check so my last check was my last. My lease is almost up and so I'll be looking for something more affordable. I was only able to pay $500 toward my rent of $1230 and am being charged everyday for late fees. I really need help. There's absolutely no funding available for rental assistance. I've called every org. that I could and there's nothing. Thank you for anything that you can give in advance.
