On July 8, 2020 Brandon was medevacked to the University of Iowa Hospitals in critical condition. Brandon has an infection in his heart that caused him to suffer a brain hemorrhage (bleeding in his brain). The bleeding resulted in a stroke. Brandon has been through a lot as he had open heart surgery earlier this year to have two of his heart valves replaced as well. Brandon is a father of 2, a hard worker, and a loving person. He has gone through so much over the last years and he has come so far. Brandon is a fighter and has so much strength and courage. He is one of the strongest people I know. We are praying for Brandon's recovery. However, he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Because of Brandon's open heart surgery, his stroke, and infection of his heart he has and will be off work for an extended period of time. At this point we aren't sure if/when he will be able to return to work. His health is challenging enough so easing his financial needs is one less issue for him.
