Hi everyone. Some of you may know that sadly my Dad passed away on the 21st May 2025. As a family, this came as a complete shock to us all. I never thought my Dad would ever pass away like this however, it is very true that you never know what’s going on in someone’s mind.

It really has made me a lot more aware of the struggles that people go through each day suffering with mental health. In memory of my amazing Dad - Peter Adams, I will be running the Loch Leven Half Marathon on the 10th May 2026.

The charity I have choose to fundraise for is Andy’s Man Club. For anyone that doesn’t know, Andy’s Man Club is a UK based men’s suicide prevention charity that provides confidential, peer-to-peer support groups aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding male mental health.
