Hi Everyone!
My name is Brandon Rodriguez and I am an 8th grade student at Moreland Middle School in San Jose, CA. It has been my dream to go to Washington D.C. and New York City.
During the president’s week break in February, 8th grade students have the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. and New York City. The total cost of the trip is three thousand dollars and it is NOT funded by the school. Each student is responsible for paying their way. With my parents now paying college tuition for my brother Ulysses, I realize that it would be an extreme hardship for them to also pay for this trip.
It is my goal to earn the entire amount on my own. I thought it would be cool to do a drawing for gift cards.
Ways to earn tickets:
Donate $20.00 dollars = 1 ticket for the drawing
Donate $50.00 dollars = 6 tickets for the drawing
Donate $100.00 dollars = 20 tickets for the drawing
Prizes:
$100 dollar gift card to Apple Store
$50.00 dollar gift card to Target
$25.00 dollar gift card to Starbucks
I realize that it is hard to pay for something that you may not get anything in return but you're helping me make my dreams come true. Good karma will come your way. Any amount helps and I appreciate your willingness to make my dream come true.
