Last year I was a first year student/apprentice at Miracle Mountain Ranch Mission's School of Discipleship whose focus is Establishing - Equipping- Extending - Evangelizing. I attended classes on Bible, Christian Education, Horsemanship, Music and Physical Education with my major being Horse Barn. While taking these classes we also focused on the Attributes of God, Principle, and Character Projects.
During this past year God has been showing me more about humility, His love and mercy for us, loving and serving others, sacrificial love, and how to seek Him to help me when trials come my way.
I received hands on experience taking classes, working, teaching, and training in the Equestrian Center. I also served during numerous retreats and summer camps with giving trail rides, lessons, and teaching junior chapels.
During the school year, I felt it was God's calling to attend a second year at School of Discipleship. The only problem I had was financial means. I met with our Dean, Mr. Cooper, and shared my situation. He encouraged me to trust God to meet this need. So, beginning August 17 I became a 2nd year student/apprentice at the School of Discipleship.
My goals this year are to become more Christ-like, to minister to and serve the staff, students and campers in 2015-2016. The 2nd year students take what they have learned their first year and have more opportunites for application and focus on leadership training. My acceptance letter says it this way "...you have been diligent to seek first Christ and His kingdom and begin to put your life in order to such a degree that you have a heart to prepare for ministry which in essence is what this year is about."

Romans 12: 2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
