Brandon & Tara’s Family Needs Us

Hello my name is Lauren Ostrem,

I am making a gofund me for my Brother & his beautiful little family. Him and his Fianace Tara have a blended family of 6 children. Dmtri 22, Levi 13, Brynlee 10, Twins Kenzlee & Hartlee 8, Violet 2.

They have had some very heavy life changing news as of late for Brandon let alone what they are already going through with their baby girl Violet.

Brandon has neuroendocrine cancer. A neuroendocrine tumor that started in his appendix they removed on May 24th, 2023 they then discovered it perforated the appendix and has spread to the colon. On July 11th they will be doing a right side hemicolectomy (colon removal) to hopefully get all the cancer.

They will send that off to pathology in hopes that they got it all but he might need another surgery after and chemotherapy. He will need to take a minimum of 2 months off work if not longer depending recovery and cancer staging. Brandon is the main breadwinner for the family and without income of any kind and children to feed and bills to pay they are overwhelmed, so I am asking for assistance for them to hopefully give them some financial relief in a time of stress and where they can hopefully focus on their battles ahead.

Let alone with this new diagnosis for Brandon they have had on going struggles and diagnosis with their baby Violets health. Violet has a chronic blood disorder known as sever neutropenia. She has to take needles twice a week to give her some type of immune system. That currently cost them 1800 dollars a month with their insurance through Brandon’s work. They hope they can keep the insurance once Brandon is off work. She has also had genetic testing come back recently and she has a rare genetic duplication. She is the one of two people in the world they know of with it. It's an x-resessive genetic duplication. They have been told there is no medical information to give them about it just that they will submit her DNA to the research lab in hopes of some new answers one day!

This beautiful family is going through so very much and they need your help, please help by sharing this and lets get this family, my baby brother the financial help they need to get through these hard times!
