Brandon Shaffer Medical Fund

Recently, Brandon and Melissa Shaffer, owners of “Smokin Good Eats” of Paris, TX, have been fighting Covid. While Melissa is decently recovering, Brandon has taken it much worse and had to be admitted to PRMC with Covid Pneumonia as of Sept. 24th. As you all may know, they have not been able to operate their business and have had to cancel events since Sept. 11th. Unfortunately, we know bills don’t stop, and not being able to work has already started to put a strain on them due to current bills, loss of income, and medical bills rolling in.

We are currently unsure how much longer he will have to be in hospital care, but as of right now they are just trying to get his breathing stabilized. We also know that once he is released, he will still have recovery and will not be able to work right away.

As family and friends of Brandon and Melissa, we are setting up this account in hopes to help smooth their burden during this difficult time. It is disheartening how much Covid has affected so many we know and love. But as brothers and sisters, we always come through for one another. We only ask that you donate if it be within your means and to keep them in your prayers with positive words of love and affirmation. Brandon and Melissa appreciate everyone in their community and all the wonderful thoughts and prayers. We thank everyone and pray for healing and speedy recovery.
