Last October, Brandon had a seizure that revealed to us he had a tumor on his brain. I thanked God everyday that he had that seizure at home in bed and not on his Harley. In preparing for this surgery, we got news that he did not sign up for short-term disability through his work. He chose to not get it at open enrollment, because he was a healthy 37 year old man. As you already read by October that all changed and it was too late. We are very fortunate to have medical insurance to pay some of the surgery, but we all know it is not cheap. The day he got news about no short-term disability, I asked him if he would mind me setting up account for him and he agreed.
We are one week post-op and Brandon is doing so much better. We are waiting the results of biopsy but doctor said it didn't look cancerous so we are very grateful for that news. His recovery is up to 6 weeks and we will be on my paycheck only. We will greatly appreciate any help we can get until he is back to work. Thank you from his very dedicated wife and God bless.
