Hello loving family, friends, community and kind strangers.
My name is Amy and I am a friend of Amanda and Cari, Brandon's loving parents.
I have created this fundraiser as a way for us to offer their family a show of love and support at this deeply shocking, challenging and devastating time.
Brandon sadly passed away suddenly on the 27th of January 2025 at the Princess Alexandra hospital with his loving parents by his side aged 5.
Amanda has 3 months left to go of her 3rd pregnancy which has been and still is an extremely challenging, high risk pregnancy.
They also have beautiful Emmie-Rae who is 2 years old Brandon's younger sister to care for.
Cari has been off work in order to care for Amanda and their children during this challenging time.
I am asking us all to help raise funds towards the following:
- Brandon's funeral costs
- Daily living expenses that can bring their family some breathing time and space, so they are able to be together and grieve and not have the burden of financial worry, as well as allowing Cari to be able to continue to support Amanda and look after Emmie-Rae through the reminder of the pregnancy and the birth of their 3rd child
- Brandon's School are also creating a playground memorial piece to honor and memorialize his passing
