Help Brandon Howard Roy's band get to Germany!

Hello! My name is Brandon Howard Roy and I am an award-winning Queer indie-pop singer-songwriter based in Charlottetown, PEI.

To date I've released one album and multiple singles, which have garnered me numerous East Coast Music Award nominations, a Music PEI Award, national media coverage and launched a Canadian tour last year. I'm in the process of finishing up my second album which I am so excited to release in a couple of months.

I have been invited to showcase at this September's Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany, which is truly one of the biggest honours of my career to date. Not only will it be my first time playing my music overseas, but Reeperbahn is Germany’s largest showcase festival and one of the most important meeting places for the music industry in Europe. The connections I will make by playing for international delegates including publishers, labels and booking agents will undoubtedly help me to propel my career to the next level.

The magic of what I do is largely thanks to the incredible band that plays my music: Joce Reyome, Ben Aitken, David MacDonald and Colin Buchanan, so I can't go to Germany without them! However, even with the modest subsidies that are available, the costs associated with this trip are staggering for an artist to take on. Any support that you'd be able to give will help me get my band to Hamburg, compensate them fairly, and help us shine while representing PEI on the world's stage. Even a few dollars to help with the pesky bridge fare or buy some schnitzel for lunch will go a long way!
