My husband has recently been diagnosed with Skin Cancer. The cancer has been there for a while and has spread to affect to entire tip and bridge of the nose.  He will have to undergo what is called the MOHS Surgery With a Forehead flap,  On February 4, 2019 and have extensive reconstructive surgery with a plastic surgeon to repair the wound site. As a new teacher, he does not have a lot of sick time on the books. And due to having to take time off for other recent tragedies in the family, Biopsy and Pre- Op appts, his time has dwindled.  The recovery process is going to be 3-4 weeks! And the Dr would like him off work for at least that duration. Your donations are to help our family cover the loss of income he will sustain with this recovery period as well as Hotel and travel related expenses(we have to travel out of town for surgery and follow ups)  Also, as his caregiver,  I too have had a loss of income and will continue so, while I help him heal!
