Brandon Gresham’s funeral costs

Donation protected
A heartbreaking update:
My dad took his last breath early Monday morning. He knew he was loved and went peacefully and for that, we are thankful. We all said our final goodbyes. We are now facing the unthinkable on having to plan his funeral. Many have been asking how to donate and I thought this maybe the easiest way. My dad did not have life insurance so donations can also be made to his wife, Chere. Thank you all for helping during this heartbreaking journey. He fought as hard as he could. My dad was one of the toughest people I know. His body was tired and he is forever resting with no pain. Thank you all again.

Hi everyone,
My dad went into the hospital Thursday (1/11) for back pain. After further examination, they found a mass on his pancreas. The next day it was determined that the mass is malignant. As you can imagine this is very hard news to hear as a daughter. We are going through something we shouldn’t have to be at our age. Other recent events have also transpired that has left our family with a burden that has impacted not only my father’s medical expenses, but our family as a whole. This is hard to make as we don’t ask for anything but my family needs help. I don’t know any other way. If a donation cannot be made, a simple prayer helps us more than you know. We will also update as we get more news on my father diagnoses. From the bottom of me and my families heart, thank you all for your help in these hard times.

UPDATE ( 1/13)
The doctors has determined the mass is 12mm (1.6 centimeters) and has not spread which is great news! He does have pancreatitis which is causing his pain. We should know more information on Tuesday for plans of treatment.

UPDATE (1/15)
Doctors have stated that they may go ahead and remove the mass if everything looks good when they look at his pancreas. They should be doing the scan today. It still has not spread so that is wonderful news!

UPDATE (1/16)
They did put a stint in to drain his pancreas. This is GREAT news! He should feel so much better now as he was in a lot of pain from the pancreatitis. As for the mass, an oncologist will be meeting with my dad soon for treatment plans.

UPDATE (1/17)
My dad will be getting a port tomorrow morning to start chemo next week. He is feeling much better since the procedure to drain his pancreas yesterday. Next steps will be the hardest but he is a tough man!

UPDATE (04/04)
My dad went to the ER on 04/01 for pain. Upon receiving a CT scan, it did reveal that the cancer has spread to other organs. His oncologist has determined the cancer is stage 3B at this point in time. They did change doing chemo to every week instead of every 2 weeks now. While this is not the news we wanted, he is not giving up! He is just fighting back harder.
