Brandon Gray: Son, Brother, Friend

I've started writing this 1,000 times today and I just can't seem to get the words right... This go fund me is being created out of so much love and great sadness for one Brandon Gray.

Several years ago Brandon's kidneys began failing and he was placed on an ever exhausting dialysis schedule. He tried so hard to not let that keep him from enjoy the things and people he loved. Even if he was physically too tired to go anywhere Brandon always found a way to stay in touch online: posting silly memes, creating "guess the movie" games for friends to play, sharing his extensive movie, Manga and music collection. Brandon always put others first and would never complain about the cards he had been dealt or his struggles.

Brandon was admitted to the ICU last Monday (12/9) after his mother and brother found him out of sorts following a recent return from dialysis. We were hopeful when he was finally able to be moved from the ICU to a regular hospital room. Unfortunately, those hopes were dashed when he was urgently returned to the ICU and passed shortly afterwards Saturday (12/14), two days before his 43rd birthday.

Brandon was the kindest most thoughtful soul. He knew no stranger. Always willing to help, talk, hang out, share stories... This go fund me is meant to honor the memory of a wonderful human being who's struggles are finally over and can be at peace. All funds will be donated to Brandon's mother to help with any funeral, medical and other costs from this unexpected and tragic loss.
