What started out to be an ordinary May has quickly turned into our families worst nightmare. Saturday May 5th was a typical weekend with the family; a flag football game for their oldest son Aiden, family activities, and an abundance of fun. Monday was a typical workday, where Brandon was at a conference and started feeling discomfort in his abdomen. Within five minutes he was soaked in sweat. He walked outside and became sick and then proceeded to drive home. His wife Michele finally convinced him to go to the emergency room to be checked out. Brandon was admitted into the hospital Monday night with gallstones and pancreatitis from an unknown cause. By Wednesday he was transferred to the ICU at Orlando Medical Regional Center. That same night he was rushed into emergency surgery.
Brandon is fighting for his life in the ICU with family by his side round the clock. This will be a long journey. Best case scenario he is looking at a minimum additional one month stay in the hospital which will include multiple surgical procedures. After that comes a long rehabilitation. His wife Michele needs to be by his side the entire time which will force her to take a leave from work. This two income household will be taking a huge financial hit. They are a family of four which includes two young children Aiden (10) and Evan (4). Brandon is a devoted family man that has made his family his entire life.
We are asking for donations to help the family through this very long journey. We are hoping to ease some of the stress during this unexpected life event. Even if you are unable to donate financially, please continue to pray for Brandon and his family.
