Brandon Cravens Memorial Scholarship

We lost Brandon Cravens on October 30, 2020. I say "we" because his loss touched so many of us. Brandon was a son, a brother, a neighbor, and a friend. He had a bright spirit that was easy to love and hard to forget.

To honor him, we started a memorial scholarship in his name.

Since 2021, the Brandon Cravens Outstanding Student Athlete Scholarship has been awarded annually to a senior at Edinburgh Community High School who has shown excellence in sports and academics and plans to attend a 2- or 4-year college.

Since launching the scholarship, we’ve raised over $20,000—far more than we ever imagined when we started this journey. Thanks to the generosity of so many, we've been able to honor Brandon’s memory by supporting student-athletes at Edinburgh each year.

Now, we’re just a few thousand dollars away from reaching our $25,000 goal. Hitting this milestone would allow us to endow the scholarship, meaning we could invest the funds to ensure it lasts for years to come. Not only would this provide more financial support to students each year, but it would also give the scholarship true longevity—keeping Brandon’s legacy alive well into the future.

GoFundMe takes a small percentage of every donation made here for their platform's fee. With that exception, 100% of your donations will go directly into this scholarship fund for Edinburgh students and future fundraising events.
