On February 5, 2017, Brandon, as a passenger, was in a horrible car accident.  Even though Brandon was wearing his seatbelt, he sustained extremely serious injuries.  Brandon is currently in the hospital recovering from a TBI (traumatic brain injury), broken pelvis, two broken arms, two broken legs, and a broken ankle.
After weeks in ICU, Brandon is now awake, talking and eating, but has very limited or no control of his head, arms and legs.  The short-term treatment that’s currently being discussed and recommended by the professionals is to place him into an in-patient care facility.  The short-term treatment is estimated to last from 4-7 weeks, followed by the need for continued long-term care.
This experience has been extremely hard on the family. Brandon’s parents have been at his bedside as much as “life” would allow.  It is important that his continual care be in a facility close to home, allowing his parents their continual visitation, for them to be the voice and advocate that Brandon needs and to closely monitor and oversee the supervision of his treatment and care.
Any funds collected from this campaign will be applied directly to Brandon’s long term-care needs in a nearby facility.
